Hioptic 152 Mak on Celestron CG5 GT
It's now made it on to a Celestron CG-5GT mount making it a nice £500/$1000 astro imaging system.

CONCLUSION

Some of the issues with this telescope kit would put off first time astronomers and the optics probably won't impress the advanced astro photographers. So who is this scope best suited for? Probably the intermediate astronomer on a budget. They appreciates the sharp views that the Maksutov optical design can provide but have stuck to SCT because of cost. This Mak gives anyone considering a 6-inch Schmidt the option of corrected Maksutov optics for the same money.

When considering its nearest rival, the Skywatcher 150 Mak, retails for around £449 ($900) without a mount, then despite some minor flaws, this was an exceptionally good deal for £235 ($470) all in.
