1st CLASS RECORDED DELIVERY
(Our Standard Service)
Postage is charged on all
orders, regardless of weight, at 3.49exc. (£4.10inc.) This is a 1st
Class Recorded delivery service in the UK and provides parcel tracking
and will likely arrive next day but is not a guaranteed next day service.
As this delivery method is traceable if no-one is able to receive the delivery
it can be collected from the local main post office with proof of ID/address.
SPECIAL DELIVERY (Guaranteed
Delivery By 1pm Lunch Time The Following Day*)
If you require a guaranteed
next day service in the UK please select the Special Delivery option
from the postage menu on the left, which will be charged at a total rate
of £6.55inc, (an additional £2.45inc. on top of our default
option). Delivery on a Saturday is not guaranteed. As this delivery method
is traceable if no-one is able to receive the delivery it can be collected
from the local main post office with proof of ID/address.
DISCOUNT DELIVERY ON A SINGLE
SMALL ITEM
If you only order 1 item
and it weighs less than 500g we will refund part of the postage charge.
Charge will be £4.10inc for special (saving £2.45inc) and £2.05inc
for recorded (saving 50%)
RETURNED POSTAGE COSTS
We only refund your return
postage costs if the item we sent you was faulty as soon as it arrived
(DOA) or we sent you the wrong item (including incorrect specification).
VAT ON POSTAGE
While Royal Mail is none
VATable at source we have been informed by the Inland Revenue that we are
providing a delivery service, Jiffy Bags & packing etc. and we need
to show VAT added.
Error & Omissions
Every effort is taken to make
sure prices and specifications are correct at time of advertising but sometimes
errors or omissions can occur or a supplier can change a specification
without notice.
ITEM OUT OF STOCK WHEN IT
SAID IT WAS IN STOCK
Our online system is one
of the best and automatically updates stock levels as items are sold so
if it says it's in stock 99% of the time it will be. However in the unlikely
event that something has gone wrong we will reverse your order immediately
and notify you via e-mail or via pay pal as to what has happened.
INCORRECT SPECIFICATION
If you are not happy that
a product met the advertised specifications we will honour a refund if
the product can be returned in saleable condition.
INCORRECT ADVERTISED PRICE
If we find an incorrectly
advertised price, that could not be economical be sustained, before your
transaction completed (before invoice production) we reserve the right
to alter the price immediately and inform you that your order has been
cancelled and to re-order. If we have already processed you transaction
(produced an invoice) we will honour the incorrect price as long as it
was a mistake on our part and not a fraudulent transaction by an external
body.
INCORRECT CHARGING
If you think you have been
charged the wrong amount please CONTACT
KUMKIE as soon as possible so we can investigate. On the rare occasion
this may happen and go un-noticed any transaction discrepancies will be
picked up during account reconciliation up to 3 months later and we reserve
the right to adjust billing for incomplete or over payments. All goods
remain the property of Kumkie Ltd until paid in full at the advertised
price.
Limited Liability
Kumkie Ltd does not offer any
compensation, beyond the value of the items or delivery you purchased,
to you or any third party for real, incedental or consequential damages
or loss.
7 Days Returns Policy
Under new distance selling regulations
you may now return any un-used un-opened goods within 7 days of receiving
them for a refund. As we cannot recover our postage costs, your refund
will be minus our delivery costs. All goods must be returned in the same
condition they were sent in. If we can no longer sell them as "new" the
refund may be refused or a restocking fee be charged for loss of value.
Returning Faulty Goods
If you believe you have a faulty
item please CONTACT
KUMKIE first as sometimes problems can be resolved without returning
the item.
DEAD ON ARRIVAL
If an item is found to be
faulty within 7 days of delivery we will accept the item as DOA and replace
it with a new one at no extra cost including refunding any postage costs
you incur (up to the value of the orders postage).
DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
If the delivery man tried
to deliver an obviously damaged or opened package please refuse to sign
for it and CONTACT
KUMKIE. If you have already accepted the parcel and found the items
to be damaged you must
CONTACT
KUMKIE the same day so we can make a claim for damages.
FAULTY 12 MONTHS
After 7 days if you have
an item that becomes faulty while under warranty we will take it back for
replacement or repair, however if the box included a UK manufacturers warranty
card we would strongly suggest returning the item direct to the manufacturer
for repair or replacement. This is normal for expensive electrical items
and if you do it direct it is faster than returning the item to us and
then us forwarding it the manufacturer. Electrical items are covered by
this store and the manufacturer for a period of at least 12 months.
FAULTY AFTER 12 MONTHS
Some manufacturers may extend
the normal 12 month with their own warranty of two years or more. Claims
after the initial 12 month preiod can only be dealt with directly by the
manufacturer who offers the extended guarantee.
FAULTS DUE TO DAMAGED
We are unable to accept
returned items which show signs of having been dropped, mishandled, misused
or through natural wear and tear. If you require the item back we may have
to make a postage charge. Any uncollected items would be disposed of after
3 months.
Security
Here at Kumkie we take security
seriously. We use all the latest software and technology to make sure no
unauthorized persons can access your order details or abuse your credit
card. We also only ship good to confirmed addresses to reduce fraud. If
you require items to go to another address please record this address with
your credit card company or with Pay Pal 24hrs before ordering otherwise
we may have to reject your order as we are not covered for any charge backs.
Privacy
To our knowledge we will not
pass on your details to any other party. To our knowledge our credit card
processing agent Pay Pal will not pass on your details to another party.
Spam
We do not like unsolicited mail
either. Kumkie has a policy of only sending out seasonal adverts (so around
4 per year) to its customers. If you are not happy with this please use
the CONTACT KUMKIE
form and request removal from mailings or if you are placing your first
order specify it in the additional information box when paying. |
